About Alpine Chat Adventure

1. WILDLIFE SAFARI/ ZANZIBAR BEACH HOLIDAY
-Any unnecessary objects should be removed from the vehicles, to lessen the number of surfaces with which guests and staff might make contact. (e.g. books, magazines, games etc)

-Hand sanitizer should be available at all times for guests to use frequently when returning to the vehicle after meal stops, visits to viewpoints, visitor attractions etc

-Each guest should be provided with their own water bottle, binoculars, pen and paper, snacks etc for their exclusive use. (Sharing should be avoided.)

-Each vehicle should be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized every evening, paying particular attention to door handles and other high-contact areas.

-No access should be allowed to the vehicles by unauthorized personnel (e.g. airport porters, hotel or camp staff)

-Any hotel or camp staff helping with the guests’ luggage should use sanitizer before handling it (this should always be observed by the Alpine Chat Adventure driver)

-At the end of each safari trip, each vehicle should be deep-cleaned, by Alpine Chat Adventure staff wearing appropriate protective gears. Any removable items should be removed from the vehicle, cleaned and then put back


2.MOUNTAIN TREKKING

-All mountain climbing equipment must be sanitized or disinfected before the climb begins

-All mountain crew members must wash their hands using running water and soap, or hand sanitizers, before climbing.

-Approved disinfectants must be used to clean all equipment and food packing materials

-All fresh food should be cleaned and packed under hygienic conditions.

-All mountain crew should maintain a distance of at least 1 meter between themselves and their guests

-All mountain crew should be temperature-screened before entering any National Park. Where temperature exceeds normal body temperature (37.5 C) they must seek medical advice

-All mountain crew should ensure that toilet bowls and basins are cleaned regularly with approved disinfectant solutions.

-Where applicable, paper towels and sanitary bins for safe disposal shall be made available for guests and staff.

Avoid taking ‘natural souvenirs’ to ensure no possibilities of upsetting the natural ecosystem of both the countries therefore advising clients to visit the local shops for tokens.

When traveling with us our company uses local guides , eating at locally owned restaurants and staying in locally owned and staffed accommodation. Alpine chat adventure was not always the top-rated company it is today. Erick the founder& owner of Alpine chat adventure he was first started out as an idea to operate tourism activities in Tanzania, it was 2014 by that time I was fresh from college, (a college of Africa wildlife management Mweka). With my Bachelor degree I realized that running the tour company is not an easy thing it needs experience and capital by the time I had only knowledge in my hand, I could tell you at that time my goal was to do things better, shake up the industry, etc, but I`d be lying, I was young and looking to make living. I decided to work as a tour guide in other tour company and specialized as professional safari guide and Mount Kilimanjaro guide. Good news!!!!! Guess what, I got an experience and knowing how other tour operator running the business.
The beginnings of Alpine chat adventure, later in january 2017 when I was up the Mount Kilimanjaro at Barafu camp 4673m/15,295ft I saw a very curious little birds in front of my tent it has a short tail and long legs, it is brave and approach people the name of bird was Alpine chat also known as the Moorland chat or hill chat is a species of songbird, it is endemic to north-east Africa where it is common in its habitat. It lives at high altitudes on moors and grassland, usually above 3400m (11,100ft). I loved the bird and I decided to call my company, name of the bird which is alpine chat, The same year with the great support from my family, my mom Emmy, I decided to register it in Tanzania government as a Tour operator, I set up an office in Moshi the city where I born and raised in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. At the beginning it was like a miracle I think it was bless from my mom who always prays to God for good wishes, we received many travelers and both of them were satisfied with our tour services. Today Alpine chat adventure is a top-rated company serving hundreds of travelers each year. Our focus is tailor-made tours with a responsible approach, personalized and enriching experiences together with benefiting the local people, wildlife and conservation efforts of the country.

Alpine chat adventure has always been aware of the need of sharing the benefits realized from our tour operations with the Tanzania community which we are part of, we tried to quietly support the local community in our own small way, with no intention whatsoever for public relations. By supporting us as a local business all our tours benefit the local communities our support is directed towards fair wages and charitable outreach programs such as healthcare, education, drinking water, food relief and the environment conservation. The focus has been to support the difficulty and those in need, through charitable organizations or by directly assisting individuals and groups. The company also works to create employment opportunities for local porters and guides so as to eradicate poverty.
As part of our commitment to responsible tourism and in appreciation for the beauty and inspiration Tanzania has given us, Alpine chat Adventure works with a variety of charitable organizations to give back.
